She recently finished performing in Disney's Aladdin with Spokane Children's Theatre. Last spring, she scared SCT kids as the Witch in both Snow White and Hansel & Gretel. The past couple of years, Janean has performed for Interplayers (Cowgirls), Ignite (A Streetcar Named Desire), and Liberty Lake Community Theatre (Miss Nelson is Missing!). She was also a regular at the now-defunct CenterStage, with I Love You You're Perfect Now Change, Closer Than Ever, Honky Tonk Laundry, and the CenterStage Live! variety show.
Janean holds that most versatile yet useless of degrees, a BA in English specializing in theatrical scripts from Gonzaga University. Fortunately, she also majored in journalism, which formed the basis for her day jobs in communication arts.
